If your child is new to Edmonton Public Schools, you can register for school online. Visit the Division website to learn how to register for school.

We can only accept resident students in Kindergarten and in Grades 1 to 9 who have newly moved into the school’s attendance area.

All students who pre-enrolled for the Regular and Cogito program at Balwin are now guaranteed a spot here for the 2026-2027 school year.

For the 2026 - 2027 school year, Balwin School is full in planned classes in:

Grades 1 to 7 in the regular program
Grade 7 and 9 in the Cogito program.

We will no longer accept enrolment requests for Grade 7 and 9 in the Cogito program. For the regular program, we will only accept resident students in Grades 1 to 7 whose parent(s)/legal guardian(s) have newly moved into the school’s attendance areas for the regular program. A resident student of Edmonton Public Schools has at least one parent or legal guardian living in Edmonton who is not Roman Catholic. Non-resident students can enrol in another Division school with space in planned classes.
