    Balwin School - You Belong Here!

    NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION
    If your child is new to Edmonton Public Schools, you can register for school online. Visit the Division website to learn how to register for school. 

    We can only accept resident students in Kindergarten and in Grades 1 to 9 who have newly moved into the school’s attendance area.

    It’s time to get ready for the 2026–27 school year! Sign in to your parent SchoolZone account between 8 a.m. on February 2 and 4 p.m. on March 25 to select your child’s preferred school. 

    Whether your child is staying at the same school or changing schools, all students need to pre-enrol. You can contact our school for help or learn more at  https://epsb.ca/schools/register/currentstudents/

WELCOME TO BALWIN SCHOOL

Pre-enrolment Closed Thursday, March 26, 2026.

Thank you for choosing Balwin!

All students who pre-enrolled for the Regular and Cogito program at Balwin are now guaranteed a spot here for the 2026-2027 school year.

Please call us at 780-475-3646 if you have questions or concerns.

For the 2026 - 2027 school year,  Balwin School is full in planned classes in:

  • Grades 1 to 6 in the regular program 
  • Grade 9 in the Cogito program.

We will no longer accept enrolment requests for Grade 9 in the Cogito program. For the regular program, we will only accept resident students in Grades 1 to 6 whose parent(s)/legal guardian(s) have newly moved into the school’s attendance areas for the regular program. A resident student of Edmonton Public Schools has at least one parent or legal guardian living in Edmonton who is not Roman Catholic. Non-resident students can enrol in another Division school with space in planned classes.

If you are registering for Kindergarten or are new to Edmonton Public Schools, you must register online.
