Family Centre

Balwin School has partnered with The Family Centre to support our families and children.

The Family Centre brings Success Coaches and Aboriginal Commitment Coaches into our school. They are a valuable resource to help support children and youth who are at risk of having unsuccessful school experiences.

Coaches help children and youth become positively engaged with their school, resulting in them attending school, succeeding academically, reducing high risk behaviour, increasing internal and external resources, developing positive goals and to begin to see themselves as having the potential for future success.

The Family Centre also provides Family Therapy to our families who are in crisis or need counseling support.
